2006 [Junior Year]
As a senior, Bruce played in a 131 matches and led the team and was second in the conference in assists with 1444 averaging 11.02 per game. She also was second on the team with 63 service aces, and her 415 digs were third-highest on the team. Bruce was named to the All-SCAC second team for her efforts on the court.

2005 [Sophomore Year]
As a sophomore, Bruce stepped in to the starting setter role and flourished, receiving first team All-SCAC honors. She led the conference in assists with 1568 for an average of 11.88 per game, the fifth highest single-season average in SCAC history. Bruce led the team with 72 service aces and her 294 digs were fourth-highest on the team.

2004 [Freshman Year]
Bruce saw limited action as a first-year but averaged 9.27 assists per game while playing in 33 games. Her 306 assists were second-most on the team. She also had the highest hitting percentage on the team, totaling 36 kills and just one error in 66 total attempts for a .530 percentage. The first-year setter also had 58 digs and 14 service aces.

High School
Bruce was named district Most Valuable Player in both 2002 and 2003. She was also an All-State performer for the Cougars in 2003 when she was also selected to the Academic All-District team.

Bruce is the daughter of Joe and Vicci Higginbotham... was born April 24, 1986... has one brother - Drew and one sister - Allison... is majoring in communications with a minor in business.
