The SU women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at the hands of #25 Trinity University on Friday (Nov. 2) in San Antonio, TX to close out the regular season. The Tigers scored their first goal at the 6:41 mark on a penalty kick taken by Jennifer Wray. TU went up 2-0 with another goal in the 34th minute for a 2-0 halftime lead. Trinity then put two more in goal during the second period. Pirate goalkeeper Eryn Snyder (Spring Branch, TX/Smithson Valley HS) made eight saves in the game as Trinity put 12 of its 23 shots on goal. Snyder made a number of tremendous saves to keep the Pirates in the game. The Pirates finish the season with a 13-5 overall record and a 7-2 mark in conference play. SU takes second place in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for its best finish in program history. Trinity improved to 8-0-1 in the conference and 13-3-1 overall.
