Sophomore Kristen Davenport (Mansfield, TX/Mansfield HS) is in second place, one stroke out of the lead, as the SU women's golf team stands tied for seventh at the St. Edward's Invitation in Austin, TX on Monday (Mar. 3).

Davenport fired a first round score of 79 for her current second place standing. Following Davenport is junior Marisa Mauldin (Utopia, TX/Utopia HS) who shot a 87 for her first round and she is in a tie for 24th place.

Sisters Delilah Dominguez (Bastrop, TX/Bastrop HS) and Victoria Dominguez (Bastrop, TX/Bastrop HS) are separated by just one stroke as they shot 95 and 96. They are tied for 59th and 66th. Sophomore Cody Wallace (Austin, TX/Lake Travis HS) is in 91st after shooting a 117.

The Pirates are tied with Western New Mexico in seventh place while the University of Texas JV team holds the lead.

The final round will be held on Tuesday (Mar. 4) in Austin.
