Natasha Azizi (Katy, TX/Cinco Ranch HS), a junior forward for the Pirates, has been named a Second Team selection to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District team that was released Thursday (Feb. 7).

Azizi is a business major who has a cumulative grade point average 3.80 while at Southwestern. This season, she is scoring 12.2 points per game and pulling down five rebounds per contest. The junior is well on her way to 1,000 point and 500 rebounds for her career as she has totaled 804 points and 396 rebounds thus far.

The ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District and All-America teams are voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
