2006-2007 [Sophomore Year]
Russell had a good sophomore year for the Pirates with 2 top 20 finishes and 3 top 40 finishes on the links...finished 15th at the Bulldog Classic with a 145 (74-71)...had a 20th place finish at the Denison Classic with a score of 156 (76-80)...shot a 153 at the UMHB Fall Classic where he finished 30th.

2005-2006 [First Year]
Russell highlighted his rookie campaign with a 13th place finish at the SCAC Championships where he shot a 151 with rounds of 72 and 79 good for only 9 over par on the weekend to help the Pirates to a third place team finish.

High School
Rusell was a state qualifier in 2004 for the Bobcats at Cy-Fair HS in Houston.

Tyler is the son of Randy and Christa Russell...born on May 7, 1987...has one sister - Brooke...is majoring in Business at SU.
