2006-2007 [First Year]
Jones had a great rookie campaign has he was the top Pirate finisher in two tournaments on the year...at the West Regional Invitational Jones finished in 10th place shooting a 229 (77-77-75)...finished in 6th place at the McMurry Classic with a 155 (78-77)...had another 6th place finish at the Denison Fall Classic with rounds of 75 and 76 for a 151...tied for 21st at the SCAC Championships shooting 14 over par for the tournament (80-78=158).

High School
Jones was a four year lettermen in golf, was the conference champion in 2005, as well as finished in 9th place in the State Tournament in 2005...also wrestled for the Wildcats at Eureka HS in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ricky is the son of Rick and Linda Jones...born on January 6, 1988...has one sister- Nicole and one brother - Teddy...is a business major with a minor in chinese at SU.
