Bergstrom saw action in 18 games in which he started in 6, also started 3 of 12 SCAC games...logged 206 minutes on the court for the Pirates in his rookie averaging 11.4 minutes overall and 10.2 minutes in the SCAC...had 68 total points averaging 3.8 points per game...shot 25-56 (.446 %) from the floor and 12-29 from three giving him a 3-point shooting percentage of .414 ranking third on the team...shot 6-12 from the line on the year...had 24 rebounds of which 23 were defensive...had 9 assists and 7 steals on the year...ranked fifth on the team in 3-point field goals made with 12...ranked six on the team in FG percentage (.446).

High School
Bergstrom was a TABC All-Region pick, a San Antonio Express News 3A All-Area team pick, a 28-3A All-District 1st team pick in 2006, played on the Regional Quarterfinalist team in 2006, was selected to the Lonestar Invitational All-Star Game and the Centex Jammin' All-Star game, as well as being selected to the All-Tournament team at Yoakum Hondo-Blanco tournament, he was the 3-pt contest Champ at Hondo, and in 2005 was a 28-3A All-District pick and was selected to the Academic All-State team in 2006. Bergstrom also lettered in Gold where he was a member of the three time District Champ Squad (2004-2006), was a Region IV 3A Torunament fourth place finisher in 2004 and in 2006 place third in Region IV. Also letterd in Track as a high jumper for the Bears at La Vernia HS.
