On Friday (Apr. 4), Chris Norris (Katy, TX/Katy HS) and Mike Hanschen (Austin, TX/Austin HS) both represented Southwestern at the 81st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, TX.

Both runners qualified for the meet in the 100 meter dash for all non-NCAA Division I institutions. Norris placed 14th overall and finished fourth in his heat with a time of 11.03. Hanschen took third in his heat and was 17th overall, crossing the finish line in 11.20. Every other athlete running in the 100 was from either a NCAA Division II, NAIA or NJCAA program.

The next meet for the SU men's and women's track and field teams will be the David Noble Relays hosted by Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX on Saturday (Apr. 12).
