The SU women's tennis team fell at the hands of defending SCAC Champion Sewanee on Friday (Apr. 25) afternoon in Greencastle, IN.

The Tigers took the match 7-2. Sewanee jumped ahead by three points after winning all of the doubles matches. In single, the Pirates win came from Lali Satyavada (Midland, TX/Lee HS) and Kelly Finn (Wichita Falls, TX/Burkburnett HS). Finn won her match 6-4, 6-3 while Satyavada took three sets in winning 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

The women will face Centre College at 9:00 am on Saturday (Apr. 26) morning in Greencastle.
