2006-2007 [First Year]
Pennington was named to the All-SCAC Tennis Team...she played her entire rookie season for the Pirates in the number one singles spot and posted a 13-7 record...in doubles play with her partner, Michelle Tompkins, she also went 13-7 in the #1 flight.

High School
Pennington was a 1st Team All-District selection in 2004, was a Regional Finalist in 2004 and was a State Finalist in tennis in 2005 for the Chargers at Churchill HS in San Antonio, TX.

Mary is the daughter of Thomas and Doris Pennington...born on September 24, 1987...has three sisters - Jamie, Melissa and Kimberly...is a chemistry major at SU.
