2006-2007 [First Year]
Gutzmer had a solid rookie season playing singles matches at the #3-6 flights...won 1 decision at the #3 spot...won another decision at the #4 spot and at the fifth flight went 3-2...also played 5 matches at the sixth slot splitting with 2 wins and 2 losses...in doubles play had an overall record of 10-4...with a 7-2 record with doubles partner Leslie Smith going 7-3 at the second flight.

High School
Gutzmer was the team co-captain, in 2004 was a District 4A Doubles Champion, in 2005 finished in third place in the 5A District Tournament, was a two time member of the Trojans championship teams for District 4A and also finished as the runner up team in District 5A in her junior year, also was a First Team Academic All-District pick for the Trojans at Anderson HS in Austin, TX.

Emily is the daughter of Armin Gutzmer and Kathleen McClintock...born on April 29, 1988...has one sister - Abigail...is an international studies major at SU.
